Bridgnorth Walking Rugby Awarded National Lottery Funding to Launch New Community Group
Bridgnorth is set to benefit from a new Walking Rugby initiative thanks to a grant from The National Lottery Community Fund. The award will support the full establishment of Bridgnorth Walking Rugby, enabling organisers to provide an inclusive, low‑impact version of the sport designed for adults of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels.
The funding will cover essential start‑up costs including equipment, venue hire, insurance, and the development of safe, accessible sessions.
