Bridgnorth Walking Rugby is expanding again. After the fantastic success of our Monday morning sessions, we’re delighted to introduce a brand‑new mixed Walking Rugby session at Severn Park, open to men and women aged 50+.
Walking Rugby is a fun, low‑impact, non‑contact version of the sport. It’s ideal if you want to stay active, enjoy gentle exercise, or simply meet new people in a friendly, supportive environment. Whether you’ve played rugby before or you’re completely new to it, you’ll be welcomed from the moment you arrive.
Why join Walking Rugby?
- A safe, slower, non‑contact format
- Great for fitness, mobility and confidence
- Perfect for beginners and returning players
- Sociable, relaxed and full of laughs
- Outdoors in the beautiful setting of Severn Park
Our Monday group continues to grow, and many players have asked for more opportunities to take part. This new Wednesday session gives even more people the chance to get involved — and you’re welcome to attend either or both sessions.
